Method Statement
Our anti-termite treatment follows strict procedures to ensure maximum protection for your property.
1. Pre-Construction Anti Termite Treatment
Pre-construction anti-termite treatment is applied during the building construction phase, before the concrete slab is poured. This method creates a continuous chemical barrier in the soil that prevents subterranean termites from entering the structure.
Treatment Areas:
- Horizontal surfaces of excavated soil before laying the sub-floor
- Vertical surfaces of foundation trenches and retaining walls
- Areas around plumbing pipes, conduits, and service penetrations
- Perimeter of the building along the external foundation walls
- Backfill soil around foundations and walls
Procedure:
- The sub-soil surface is cleared of all debris, roots, and foreign materials
- Approved soil termiticide is applied uniformly at the recommended concentration rate
- Treatment is applied using low-pressure spray equipment to ensure even distribution
- The treated surface must not be disturbed after application
- If the treated soil is disturbed during construction, retreatment must be carried out
2. Post-Construction Anti Termite Treatment (Corrective Soil Treatment)
Post-construction treatment is performed on existing buildings to create a chemical barrier against termite infestation. This method involves drilling through the concrete floor slab to inject termiticide into the sub-soil beneath the structure.
Procedure:
- Holes are drilled through the concrete floor slab at intervals of approximately 300mm (12 inches) apart along the interior perimeter walls
- Additional holes are drilled around plumbing fixtures, bathroom areas, and other high-risk entry points
- Approved termiticide is injected into each drill hole under pressure to saturate the sub-soil
- The drill holes are sealed with cement mortar upon completion
- External perimeter trenching may be performed where accessible
3. Termite Baiting System
As an alternative or supplement to soil treatment, we offer termite baiting systems. Bait stations containing cellulose material treated with slow-acting insect growth regulators are installed around the building perimeter.
- Monitoring stations are installed at strategic points around the property
- Stations are inspected regularly for termite activity
- When termites are detected, active bait is introduced
- The colony feeds on the bait and transfers the active ingredient, eliminating the entire colony
- Regular monitoring continues to ensure no new colonies establish
4. Chemical Products Used
All termiticides used by DynaPest are approved by the Malaysian Pesticides Board and comply with MS 1849 standards. Our products are selected for their effectiveness, longevity, and environmental safety profile.
